Reglas – Español

Es hora de tener otro concurso Tibiano, y esta vez la estrella ¡será nuestro Magic Hat!

La tarea del concurso es crear un dibujo o collage de un mago o bruja quién debe llevar nuestro Magic Hat. Además debes de crear una corta historia que relacione con él o ella. Puede ser sobre su nacimiento, sus poderes, cómo obtuvo su Magic Hat, u otro hecho que se te ocurra.

Reglas generales

El/la participante puede enviar la cantidad de participaciones que desee, pero sólo una podrá ganar alguno de los 3 puestos ganadores.
Participantes que intenten plagiarizar, o utilicen contenido de concursos anteriores serán descalificados.
El staff de Viva Tibia no puede participar en el concurso.
Las entradas deben de ser enviadas en el canal de #participaciones-submissions en nuestro servidor de discord.
La/el participante deberá indicar, en su post de Discord, el nombre de su personaje y servidor para entregar el premio en caso de resultar ganador/a.
El personaje a donde se envíe el premio no puede estar en Rockguard/Dawnport y debe estar en una cuenta que haya sido creada antes del 1ro de marzo de 2022.
Las participaciones deben enviarse ANTES del 1ro de junio de 2022 a la hora del server save (10AM CEST).

Sobre el dibujo o collage

El dibujo o collage debe representar a un mago o bruja, y debe tener nuestro Magic Hat.
El dibujo o collage debe estar hecho sobre papel (no puede ser digital) y el tamaño debe ser el de una hoja A4 (210×297 mm) como mínimo y de una hoja A2 (420 x 594 mm) como máximo.
Puede utilizarse cualquier elemento para el dibujo/collage: pinturas, acuarelas, lápices, papeles texturados, etc.
El/la participante debe de enviar 5 imágenes del proceso de su obra, desde el inicio hasta el final. En cada imagen debe de haber una tarjeta visible que diga el nombre de tu personaje, servidor y debe de decir: “VivaTibia.com – 2022”.
No se aceptarán dibujos digitales, impresos y luego coloreados. Es decir, todo debe de ser dibujado y coloreado a mano y esto debe de ser demostrado en las fotos del proceso.
El/la participante debe de enviar una (1) imágen final que será utilizada para seleccionar a las/los ganadoras/es. Esta foto no debe ser editada y debe únicamente mostrar la obra. Los arreglos exteriores (decoraciones) al dibujo no se tomarán en cuenta al momento de evaluar su participación.

Sobre la historia

El texto puede ser en inglés o en español.
El texto debe entregarse de manera digital, copiandolo directamente en el canal correspondiente de Discord. ATENCIÓN: Discord tiene un límite de 2000 caracteres por post, quizás tengan que dividir la historia en dos o tres posts.
Debe tener un mínimo de 200 palabras y un máximo de 500 palabras

Selección de la ganadora o ganador

El Staff de Viva Tibia seleccionará seis (6) finalistas. De esos seis, se seleccionarán los mejores tres (3) mediante votación de Community Managers de Cipsoft y administradores de otros fansites.

Se tendrá en cuenta como criterio los siguientes puntos:

La estética y originalidad del dibujo, pintura o collage.
La originalidad y ejecución de la historia.
La relación (conexión y coherencia) entre el dibujo o collage y tu historia.

En caso de haber mucha disparidad entre la historia y el collage o dibujo (por ejemplo siendo un dibujo excepcional pero con una historia muy pobre o sencilla), lo que tendrá mayor peso será la coherencia y relación entre el dibujo/collage y la historia.

It’s time for another Tibian contest, and this time the star will be our Magic Hat!

The task of this contest is to create a drawing or collage of a wizard or witch with a Magic Hat. You must also write a short story about him or her. It may be about their birth, background, their powers, how they obtained the Magic hat… your imagination is the limit! See below for the rules and other specifics.

General rules

Participants may post as many submissions as desired. However, they are only eligible for one prize.
Attempts to plagiarize, or reuse crafts/content from previous contests will result in disqualification of the participant.
Members of Viva Tibia’s staff are not allowed to participate in the contest.
Submissions must be posted in our Discord channel created to that effect: #participaciones-submissions
The participant must indicate in their submission the name of the character and corresponding server where they wish the prize to be sent, in case of winning.
The character where the prize is to be sent can’t be in Rockguard/Dawnport y must be in an account which must have been created prior to March 1st 2022.
Submissions must be sent prior to June 1st 2022 at server save (10AM CEST).

Rules for the drawing or collage

The drawing or collage must represent a wizard or witch and it must have a Magic Hat.
The drawing or collage has to be done on paper (can’t be digital) and the size should be at least that of an A4 sheet (210×297 mm) and not larger than an A2 sheet (420 x 594 mm).
Any element can be used for the drawing/collage: paint, watercolors, pencils, texturized paper, etc.
The participant must submit 5 images of process of their work, from start to finish. In each one there must be a card or piece of paper with your character name, server and it must also state “VivaTibia.com – 2022”
Digital drawings that were printed and then colored will not be accepted. Everything must be done by hand and the image of the process should show this.
The participant must submit one (1) final image which will be used in the winner selection. This photo should not be edited and should only portray the final result of the drawing/collage. Additional arrangements (decorations) will not be taken into account when judging the drawing/collage.

Rules for the short story

The short story can be in English or Spanish.
It must be submited digitaly (copying and pasting into Discord) NOTE: Discord has a limit of 2000 characters per post, you may need to split your text into 2-3 posts, so make sure you do it one after the other to avoid your submission from getting inserted in between someone else’s.
It should have a minimum of 200 and a máximum of 500 words.

Winner selection

VivaTibia’s staff will select five (6) finalists. From these six, the best three (3) will be selected via voting of Cipsoft’s Community Managers and other Tibia Fansite admins.

For the selection and voting, the following will be taken into consideration:

The drawing or collage’s aesthetic and creativity.
The execution and creativity of the story.
The relationship and coherence between the drawing/collage and the short story.

In case of a considerable disparity between the drawing and the short story (for example having an exceptional drawing and a poor story), the coherence and relationship between the two pieces will have the most importance for the decision.
